Nomination Notice for 2018 Board of Directors
The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce is gearing up for 2018 with the nominations and elections process for its Board of Directors. The Governance and Nominating Committee has identified one vacancy – in small business (1-10 employees).
The Nominating Committee is currently assembling a full slate for the open position and will forward the slate of candidates standing for election as a part of the election ballot. In addition to this process, the membership is welcome to submit “nominations from the floor.”
The membership has until November 1, 2017 to submit nominations to the Chamber offices. Each submission requires at least five members in good standing to support the nomination.
If an election is required, the Nominating Committee will send out the ballots to the membership. The ballot, containing biographical information on each candidate, will be provided online and submitted online or by mail to the Chamber office, so it is received by no later than December 4, 2017.
The designated representative of each member, regardless of size of business, is eligible to vote for the slate of candidates.
