Jupiter Consulting

Tell us about your business!

I’m the founder of two Edmonton-based ventures: Jupiter Consulting and Yana. At Jupiter Consulting, I use The Kolbe System™ to help small business leaders build high-performance teams where everyone brings their strengths to the table and performs at their best. Jupiter was born from my passion for helping people grow into authentic, grounded, and instinctive leaders. I believe people are at their best when they align with who they naturally are, not who they think they’re supposed to be. My second venture, Yana, I co-founded with my friend, Misha Patel, connects people in North America to high-quality, timely healthcare through private and global options, offering solutions when other systems fall short. Yana was born from a terrifying experience I had in 2023 when I had to take my sister outside Canada for life-saving surgery. I experienced firsthand how overwhelming and isolating the healthcare system can feel. The experience revealed the need for support when navigating fear, urgency, and impossible decisions. I created Yana so no one has to feel alone when facing health challenges.

How has being an Edmonton Chamber member impacted your business?

Being an Edmonton Chamber member has had a meaningful impact on both Jupiter Consulting and Yana. The community. Edmonton has one of the most supportive, engaged, and innovative business communities I’ve experienced. Every Chamber event feels like walking into a room where people are genuinely open to connecting, collaborating, and helping each other succeed. The events. From Coffee with the Chamber to policy conversations with local and provincial leaders, the Chamber creates spaces that keep small business owners like me informed, connected, and inspired. The programming is thoughtful, relevant, and energizing. The connections. Entrepreneurship can be isolating. The Chamber creates consistent opportunities to build real relationships, not just business partnerships, but genuine friendships. It’s a space where you can grow your network and feel less alone while doing it. Being part of the Edmonton Chamber has helped both of my businesses become more connected, more visible, and more integrated into the fabric of Edmonton’s business community.

What initiatives are you undertaking to better our Edmonton business community?

I believe healthy communities are built by strong leaders. Through Jupiter Consulting, I work with small business owners and leadership teams in Edmonton, and Alberta at large, to build high-performing, aligned organizations. Small businesses are the backbone of the Canadian economy, and when leaders are equipped to lead well, delegate effectively, and build resilient teams, the ripple effect strengthens our local economy. I’m also proud to mentor student consultants through MacEwan University’s Capstone program. Supporting emerging professionals as they develop real-world consulting skills is one way I can contribute to Edmonton’s next generation of business leaders. Through Yana, I have built online communities for individuals who have experienced medical gaslighting, misdiagnosis, or trauma within the healthcare system. The online communities are spaces where people navigating healthcare challenges can feel safe to share their stories, and feel connected, informed and less alone. Through our podcast, Unbound Health, we amplify real stories and foster open dialogue about access, advocacy, and global healthcare options. Whether through leadership development, mentorship, or community-building, my goal is to contribute to a stronger and healthier Edmonton business community.

Is there anything else you'd like to share?

I’m guided by four core values: personal leadership, intentionality, generosity, and fun. I believe in owning your impact, thinking clearly and acting deliberately, giving wholeheartedly, and remembering that even serious work can be done with a playful spirit. If those values resonate with you and you’re building something meaningful in Edmonton, I’d love to connect. This city grows stronger when we build together.

Edmonton has a unique business community, and we want to highlight hardworking Edmontonians with a story to tell.

Each month, we feature two members in the Business In Edmonton Magazine and take an opportunity to share their story and find out why they enjoy doing what they do. Follow along each month as we feature members while helping amplify their stories on our website and social media platforms.

If you are interested in this opportunity to be highlighted as a Chamber Member, please complete our application form.
