What inspired your organization's community involvement?
At CCCBL, we believe in more than just bottling beverages; we’re passionate about giving back to the communities we serve. Our team in Edmonton is dedicated to initiatives that uplift and support our local community.
Can you share a recent initiative that highlights your community engagement?
Our Canada’s Kindest Community program encourages Canadians to nominate acts of kindness in their neighborhoods. The community with the most submissions per capita will receive a $50,000 donation to a local non-profit. It’s our way of spreading cheer and recognizing the kindness that makes our communities special.
How do your employees participate in community efforts?
Our Edmonton team is hands-on when it comes to volunteering. We’ve supported the Ronald McDonald House’s Home for Dinner program, participated in tree planting with Root for Trees, and organized a Sip, Renew, Recycle initiative benefiting the Edmonton & Area Land Trust. Our employees are the heart of these efforts, always eager to make a positive impact.
What does being a member of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce mean to CCCBL?
Being part of the Chamber connects us with Edmonton’s vibrant business community. It offers opportunities to collaborate, share best practices, and collectively contribute to the city’s growth and well-being. We’re proud to be members and value the relationships we’ve built through the Chamber.
