Edmonton Chamber Announces Board Leadership Changes & CEO Contract Extension

EDMONTON, AB – The Edmonton Chamber of Commerce is pleased to announce changes to its Board leadership, with Randy Allarie appointed Chair.

Randy Allarie, Chief Risk Officer at Servus Credit Union, has served as Vice-Chair of the Chamber’s Board since March 2025 and brings more than 20 years of experience in banking and professional services across Canada and the United Kingdom. 

“Randy Allarie understands what it takes to build a strong organization and a competitive economy,” said Doug Griffiths, President and CEO of the Edmonton Chamber of Commerce. “His experience will serve our members and Edmonton’s business community well.” 

Dr. Annemarie Leenhouts-Petrov will continue as Past Chair, a role she transitioned into in January 2026. Annemarie Leenhouts-Petrov has served as President and CEO of the Winspear Centre since 2008 and has helped guide the Chamber through a period of organizational change. 

The Chamber’s Board of Directors has also extended Doug Griffiths’ contract as President and CEO. Since joining the Chamber in 2024, Doug Griffiths has strengthened the Chamber’s advocacy, operations and engagement with Edmonton businesses and all orders of government. 

“Doug Griffiths has brought clear direction to the Chamber and built a strong team focused on delivering for our members,” said Randy Allarie. “The Board is pleased to extend his contract and continue building a stronger voice for Edmonton businesses.” 

With this leadership in place, the Edmonton Chamber will continue representing Edmonton businesses, advocating for a competitive business environment and ensuring their priorities are heard by decision-makers at every order of government.
